About This Event

The Box’s Express Yourself family drop-ins invited children and accompanying adults to get creative during the summer holidays through activities inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and collections. The August sessions focused on colourful gelli-plate prints inspired by abstract painter Gillian Ayres and the A Life in Colour exhibition. The Box described the drop-ins as particularly suitable for children aged 4 to 11 and their adults, with free admission and a suggested £3 donation. The activity is now past, so the page should remain as an archive and link back to The Box for current family activities rather than suggesting the session is still available.
