📍 The Box, Tavistock Place · 20/06/2026 · 10:00–17:00
Echoes of Us brings together works from the Government Art Collection and The Box’s own collection in an exhibition shaped around Belonging, Memory and Connection. Spanning art from the 17th century to the present day, it places painters, sculptors, photographers and installation artists in conversation with questions about identity, place and human relationships. The display was developed through conversations and workshops with teenagers and young adults from Plymouth. Artists represented include Barbara Hepworth, Cornelia Parker, Chris Ofili, George Shaw, Zadie Xa and a number of contemporary voices. The Box is free to visit, with advance booking encouraged for priority access.
Plymouth's museum, gallery and archive, with exhibitions, displays, collections and a year-round public events programme.
