Cyanotype Printing Workshop

About This Event

Real Ideas’ Cyanotype Workshop introduced participants to the historic sun-printing process known for its distinctive Prussian-blue results. The three-hour session covered the fundamentals of preparing and exposing cyanotype prints, experimenting with natural materials, objects and textures, and using household substances to alter colour and surface effects. It was designed for beginners as well as creative participants curious about the photographic process, with no previous experience required and materials provided. The workshop was for ages 18 and over at Devonport Guildhall. The original session is now past, but Real Ideas continues to programme printmaking workshops, so archive the event and link to the current programme.
