British Firework Championships

About This Event

The British Firework Championships are held in Plymouth each August, with competing professional display teams staging full-scale shows over two consecutive evenings above Plymouth Sound. Each team fires a timed competition display, and the results are decided across both nights. Plymouth Hoe is the main viewing area, with the displays launched over the water so they are visible from a wide stretch of the waterfront. There is no charge to watch. The event is one of the largest free public gatherings in the city's calendar.
